F-GAS Training & Certification - City & Guilds 2079

According to new regulations, if you are handling, recovering, supplying, installing, manufacturing, maintaining, servicing or own equipment containing HFC refrigerants in stationary equipment you must have the F-Gas Regulations Certification following EU legislation. It is a legal requirement for engineers working in the UK to be F-gas certified.

This qualification is designed to enable refrigeration and air conditioning engineers to meet legal requirements in relation to the qualifications required to work with Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases, otherwise known as F-Gases. The F-Gas Regulations have been put in place by DEFRA to help EU countries meet the Kyoto protocol targets.

The UK City & Guilds 2079 qualification, also called F-Gas Certification, is valid in all the EU countries.
