Swegon Launches Heat Pump with Energy Recovery on R290

Swegon has launched a new heat pump called the Omicron Zero, which is certified by Eurovent and uses R290 refrigerant.

The polyvalent heat pump is multi-functional and can recover energy from both heating and cooling, regardless of external temperatures.

These units’ advanced logic control system enables them to regulate the produced temperature during recovery while modulating the amount of recovery up to total heat recovery.

The ability of these units to transfer energy within the system, where it is required the most, makes them extremely beneficial in terms of energy efficiency.

These polyvalent units can operate in all outdoor conditions throughout the year, including colder climates, and ensure continuous production of hot water even at -20°C ambient temperature.

Equipped with fixed speed scroll compressors, these units can conduct independent defrosting cycles for each circuit using advanced operating logic.
