Qatar tests innovative cooling systems in two open air fanzones in Doha
The capital of Qatar provided two ultra-modern fanzones cooled by the latest climate technology for football fans watching the matches of the recently concluded World Cup FIFA ™ 2014 in Brazil.
The project is part of a major research initiative of the Gulf country to deliver the effective cooling technology that will be utilized during the soccer World Cup FIFA ™ 2022, in order to counter the scorching summer heat in stadiums where the temperature in summer reaches an average level of about 40 ° C.
