Chillventa 2018 – the largest ever

Chillventa 2018 – the largest ever

Chillventa celebrates its 10th anniversary next month with its biggest ever show, passing the 1,000 exhibitor milestone for the first time.

The 1,023 exhibitors will ensure that this year’s event in Nuremberg from October 16-18 will be the largest display of refrigeration, air conditioning ventilation and heat pump equipment in its history. It also exceeds the size of its predecessor, IKK.

The organiser is also expecting to at least match the attendance of the last event in 2016 when 32,206 visitors passed through the doors of the Nuremberg Messe. That show confirmed Chillventa’s continuing global attraction with two-thirds of exhibitors coming from outside Germany and international visitors accounting for 56% of the total attendance.

This year’s Chillventa uses the same hall configuration as in 2016 – halls 4, 4A, 5, 6, 7, 7A, 8, and 9 – and is again arranged by product groups.

On Monday October 15, the day before the start of the show, the Chillventa Congress, will again provide experts with comprehensive insights into the latest industry topics. The programme includes the 5th Refrigeration Technology Innovation Day: Energy Efficiency and Climate Protection (in German), the ASERCOM+EPEE Symposium (in English), Heat Pumping Technologies for Commercial and Industrial Applications (in English) and Climate Control at Data Centres (in German).

Noted speakers will talk about cutting-edge topics throughout the show in three specialist forums located in the middle of the halls. The latest product developments and innovative solutions in the areas of energy efficiency and energy savings will be presented in hall 9 (applications, training and regulations), 7A (refrigeration technology) and 4A (air conditioning, ventilation and heat pumps).

In total, the Chillventa Congress, exhibitor forums and special presentation areas will feature more than 150 papers. For information about the supporting programme click here.

The show is open from 09.00 to 18.00 each day.

Tickets can be purchased online in advance and cost €27.00 for a one-day ticket or €38.00 for the three days. Tickets can be purchased here.
