Supermarket in France chooses semi vertical PLUTON SPACE for its versatility

One of France’s most popular grocery retailers, E.Leclerc, recently chose PLUTON SPACE semi vertical cabinets from FREOR for its new supermarkets.

FREOR is a specialist in commercial refrigeration installations that use the environmentally friendly R290 propane gas as a natural, non-toxic refrigerant. E.Leclerc also went that efficient, ecological route: for its new equipment, it chose an autonomous Plug&Play cooling solution from FREOR’s Green Wave R290 range.

The PLUTON SPACE is one of FREOR’s most universal and flexible commercial refrigeration solutions, perfect for almost all kinds of products.

The new E.Leclerc store in the Saint-Martin-d’Hères commune in south-eastern France was looking for a lower cabinet solution to go next to its salad bar between aisles. FREOR, which provides its refrigerators in different lengths and heights to meet client’s differing needs, suggested a lower (L) version of the PLUTON SPACE semi vertical. The cabinet fit all the supermarket’s requirements and was perfect for placing alongside the salad bar of similar height.

Another E.Leclerc supermarket chose the same PLUTON SPACE L semi vertical cabinets and multiplexed them around its sushi station, creating a sushi station island in the store.

PLUTON SPACE cabinets were ideal for both stores on account of having a very large exhibition space while not taking up too much room in the store with a height of just 157 cm. That means customers walking through a store can see everything: the low height of the semi verticals does not block their view but gives the store a spacious feel.

The solutions for both E.Leclerc stores were implemented by FREOR’s sales partner in France – Baltic Froid.
