Natural refrigerant training is gaining traction

In Africa, Gambia Technical Training Institute (GTTI) recently held a training workshop for entrepreneurs and technicians on hydrocarbon and carbon dioxide management in the use of refrigerators and air conditioning. The training was funded under the UNIDO project, which aims to raise awareness on the commercial use of ozone depleting substances that could be harmful.

R32 – the importance of training

With an increasing number of air conditioning units using R32, one of the leading manufacturers has stressed the importance of specialist training before using this “mildly flammable” refrigerant.

Propane chillers make a splash at Seafood Expo

At Seafood Expo, held on 25-27 April 2017 in Brussels, Belgium, SRS Frigadon was confident that demand for the company’s propane (R290) and propylene (R1270) chillers would grow in the fish processing industry as end users become more comfortable with these systems.
